The Carlton and Wrenshall school districts made a joint effort to obtain funding from the State of Minnesota but it didn’t make the cut in this year’s bonding bill. Only about 45 people out of a total of nearly 800 students and hundreds of staff attended the Carlton-Wrenshall consolidation discussion meeting July 9. It was a meeting filled with optimism and rhetorical flourish.
