A committee is working to bring pickleball to the tennis courts at South Terrace Elementary School. With the courts in disrepair for many years, Ed Kavanaugh estimated it will take close to $50,000 to renovate the space for four pickleball courts. Gregory Allen Day, 70, lifelong resident of Superior, passed away unexpectedly while fighting cancer on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth, Minnesota. Greg was born in Superior on March 2, 1954, the son of Carl and Ella (Petzold) Day. He attended school in Superior, with the Class of 1972.
