    After postponing the production of "The Boys Next Door" for five months due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the County Seat Theater Company is now ready to put on live theater once again, starting tonight.     When the coronavirus pandemic stopped in-person school and almost all student activities this spring, directors of the local Christian-based theatrical group New Wine got creative. The result was a feature-length movie of the musical "Children of Eden," which debuted on the back wall at Zion Lutheran Church last weekend and will be screened for the last time at 9:30 p.m. Thursday and Saturday, Aug. 13 and 15.     Every Saturday in Cloquet farmers and gardeners come together to provide fresh vegetables and goods from their homes and smaller farms. Even in the midst of a pandemic, farmers markets, modified for physical distancing, are a small joy in the sometimes stifling state of things.     Last Tuesday the Minnesota State High School League announced a revamped high school schedule due to the continuing Covid-19 pandemic. The league's board approved four sports for the fall season: girls tennis, boys and girls cross country, boys and girls soccer and girls swimming and diving.     After a few years of absence, John Sheff came back to win his 14th Cloquet Country Club men's championship and make history last week. Sheff had been in a tie with Butch Newby for the most wins in the club's nearly 100-year history, with 13 titles each. Sheff's daughter Arica Sheff won the women's championship and Bob Neve won the senior flight.     With all of the votes up to and including election day counted in Cloquet's Ward 5 City Council primary, former Cloquet mayor Dave Hallback is in third place in the vote count, with 103 votes compared to top vote getter Elizabeth "Lyz" Jaakola at 210 and Dennis M Painter with 117 votes.     Edward Albert Janke, 90, of Cloquet died Aug. 3, 2020, at New Perspective Senior Living with his family by his side. He was born on March 24, 1930 to Albert and Grace (Roesler) Janke in Becker County. Ed married Lillian Marjamaa on June 7, 1952. He worked at Diamond Match from 1951 to 1966, and was a self-employed truck driver, primarily hauling milk for dairy farms until his retirement in 1995.
