    Li’l Lumberjacks and Kids Corner are open for business at our new Pine Tree Plaza location. Thanks to much assistance from the Cloquet football team and National Honor Society, the physical moving of both programs began Sept. 1. The Li’l Lumberjacks Learning Center opened on Sept. 6, followed by Kids Corner on Sept. 7. We have received countless positive comments from our families on how beautiful and large this new space is. There is still work to be done, but we are off to a great start!     Jim and Mary Sanders will be putting up cornstalks on the light poles again this month. If you would like to adopt a light pole to decorate for fall, let Mary know. Come to the next Kettle River city council meeting at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 11 at the council room. The last Finnish Luncheon for the season will be Oct. 18.     I had the opportunity to go to the Premiere Theatres in Cloquet to see the movie “Where the Crawdads Sing.” It is a very good movie, had some questionable scenes, but all in all told a great story with no bad language. I was also impressed with the new reclining seats in the theater. I was comfortable and felt safe with the extra-spaced seating.     A Culver man was killed Wednesday, Sept. 14, as the result of a workplace incident at the Northland Constructors gravel pit in Industrial Township. According to a news release from the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, Brad Lewis Wojtysiak, 40, was found dead just before 3 p.m. Sept. 14 in what appeared to be an industrial accident at the gravel pit near Highway 33 and Sunset Lake Drive.     AT&T customers and FirstNet subscribers in Wrenshall got a boost in wireless connectivity recently, with the addition of a new cell tower near the intersection of Military Road and Veterans Evergreen Memorial Drive.
