He was born March 1, 1927 to Jake and Helen (Trettel) Burggraff in North Prairie, Minnesota. Nick served in the U.S. Army’s 11th Airborne in the Pacific Theater of Operations during World War II.     Lee Alan Angell, 60, of Moose Lake, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019 in his home. He was born Aug. 12, 1959 in Cloquet to Kathryn and LeRoy Angell. At birth Lee was diagnosed with the rare Cornelia de Lange syndrome. Lee was raised at home in Cloquet until 1981. After several moves, he made his home in Moose Lake in the Agate House in 1991.     An early morning water emergency Saturday left a man dead in the Saint Louis River in Scanlon, according to a press release from the Cloquet Police Department.
