She was raised in Canby, Minnesota, and attended school there. On July 22, 1950, Ann was united in marriage to Loren Terp. Ann and the family moved to Cloquet in 1953, where she was a homemaker. Shelby was a 2024 graduate of Barnum High School and a graduate of Fond du Lac's Law Enforcement program. James Alfred "Jim" White, 91, of Farmington, Minnesota and formerly of Carlton, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024, at home surrounded by family. He was born on March 28, 1933, in Cloquet, the son of Alfred and Edna (Larson) White. Jim served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany for three years.
