Last spring he was part of the CEC golf team, which finished third in the state, and this fall he put himself on the radar of Division 1 colleges with an impressive top-four finish at the prestigious Tim Herron College Prep Tour.     A very young Cloquet girls basketball team is learning on the fly this season and on Tuesday night the 'Jacks faced Hermantown, one of the best teams in the area. The Hawks came away with a 73-47 win over the Lumberjacks in Cloquet after building a big halftime lead. The Lumberjacks, who have just one senior on their roster, had trouble slowing down the Hermantown duo of Elly Schmitz and Bryton Kukowski, who had 23 and 17 points respectively.     Patricia “Pat” Johnson, 82, of Cloquet, passed away Dec. 19, 2019 in St. Luke’s Hospital after a brief illness. Pat was born May 24, 1937 in Duluth, Minnesota to Lloyd and Julia Lindquist. She graduated from Morgan Park High School in 1955. On July 16, 1955 Pat married Ronald “Bobo” Johnson in Duluth.
