The Carlton school board on Monday voted to remove consolidation from its list of future options for the foundering district. Left on the list are two expensive options for district residents: turning the South Terrace elementary into a preK-8 school and releasing high schoolers to another district, or creating a new preK-12 school at South Terrace. While the Carlton board plans to conduct a...

That’s right. Grandson Zeke Rousseau-Sheff is valedictorian for the Class of 2021 in Wrenshall, while grandson Spencer Rousseau is valedictorian for the Class o...

Hanson's homer was followed by a walk from Kaitlyn Adkins and back-to-back singles from Jayden Karppinen and Maya Emanuel to make it 2-0 Esko. In the third inning, Esko added two more...

    Kerry Rodd|May 21, 2021

Following last Tuesday's 20 strikeouts, Carlton freshman Abby Mitchell continued her stellar pitching against Barnum two days later, but it wasn't enough to get the Bulldogs the win in a 4-1 game at a field at Chub Lake.
