The Area Clothing Depot is 30 years old this month. It started in 1992 at the old creamery building in Cromwell. State Sen. Becky Lourey came and donated many items and helped with sorting. Thousands of cross country fans descended upon University of Minnesota Les Bolstad Golf Course on Saturday, Nov. 4 for the annual Minnesota State High School League's boys and girls cross country state meet. After dispatching Bertha-Hewitt in the first round of the Section 5 nine-man football playoffs, the Cromwell-Wright Cardinals ran into a buzzsaw in the Ogilvie Lions. As most of you know, I am dealing with Stage 1 triple-negative breast cancer. I’m done with chemotherapy, have gotten the mastectomy, and am now getting radiation treatments. I thought I would be finished with the treatments on Oct. 25, but my doctors said because of the type of cancer I have, I need 33 treatments instead of the 20 I thought I’d have.
