    Applications for 2022-2023 funding from United Way of Carlton County are available through the United Way of Carlton County (UWCC) website, www.unitedwaycarltoncounty.org. Funding is available for all eligible nonprofits working in Carlton County. Applications will be accepted until Feb. 11. Final funding decisions will be made in Spring 2022. The program provides FREE holiday lights recycling. Electric cords are also accepted.     David Tushar, a former Carlton County priest who was placed on leave in July 2019 due to allegations of sexual abuse of a minor over 40 years ago, died Dec. 23 in Las Vegas.
