Margaret "Muggs" Elizabeth Clemens

Margaret "Muggs" Elizabeth Clemens, 92, a lifelong resident of Cloquet, Minn. passed away with her family by her side Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018 at Inter-Faith Care Center in Carlton, Minn. She was born July 29, 1926 to Hugh and Elizabeth (Young) Mullen in Cloquet. Muggs was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Eagles Club, Moose Club, North Country Riders Cycle Club and Daughters of Isabella. She worked at Fond du Lac Head Start in the grandparent program and as a cook at various establishments in the Scanlon/Cloquet area over the years. Muggs traveled throughout the area with her husband Les while he played in his country band.

Muggs was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leslie Sr .; granddaughter Kelly Doran; and her siblings Jerome, Fern, June, Faith, Manny and Jack.

She is survived by her children Leslie Jr. (Robin), Claudine (Jerry) Liimatainen, Monica (Tom) Martin, Kess (John) Domongalla, Flora Diver, and Shirley (Terry) Bassett; brother Dale (Denise) Mullen; sister Madonna Morrissette; 20 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2019 at Nelson Funeral Care, and continuing at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in New Holy Family Cemetery.
