Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College is hosting the 2019 Careers in Nursing & Health Sciences Expo from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, in the Lester Jack Briggs Cultural Center Gymnasium on campus. The event is open to the public and admission is free.
The third annual Nursing & Health Sciences Expo is designed to provide information about current job openings with regional employers and the wide range of career opportunities available in health sciences fields. Representatives from more than 35 employers representing a variety of nursing and health sciences fields including laboratory services, public health, mental health, human services, military, emergency medicine, assisted living, and more will be present to discuss current and future job openings and the type of training and background qualified applicants should possess.
A Campus Visit Day for any interested students runs concurrently with the Nursing & Health Sciences Career Expo. Faculty and staff from a range of academic programs and campus departments will be available to provide tours and to meet and answer questions about degree requirements, financial aid, housing, Thunder Athletics, student activities, applying for admission, and more.
For recent and soon-to-be college graduates, prospective college students, and people who are considering a career change to the field of nursing or health science, the expo is an excellent opportunity to learn about career employment opportunities and where to receive the necessary training.
