Milton Theodore Walli

Milton Theodore "MT" Walli, 73, of Tamarack, Minn. passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019 in his home.

He was born June 19, 1945 in Duluth, Minn. to John and Henna (Johnson) Walli. The family moved to the farm in Tamarack in 1946. MT graduated from Cromwell High School in 1963. After high school he worked for the railroad for four years before starting his lifelong career in logging. MT was one of the last true Lumberjacks.

He was a member of the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and playing cards. He was also known to be a bit of a BSer.

MT was preceded in death by three brothers, Allen, Melvin and Jack.

He is survived by his son, Michael of Tamarack; his daughter, Marsha (Joe) Arnold of Wright; and their mother, Wendy; sisters Shirley Walli of Tamarack, Pat Anderson of Cloquet, and Carol (Don) Hutar of Wright; brothers James (Jackie) of Biloxi, Miss. and Rod (Ann Markusen) of Wright, Minn .; two grandchildren, Eric Arnold and Megan (Lucas) Johnson; two great-grandchildren, Sage and Fielder Johnson; his special hunting buddy, Tom Watters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. memorial service Friday, Feb. 8, 2019 in Bethany Lutheran Church in Cromwell. Burial will be at a later date in Lakeside Cemetery.
