Cloquet medallion found!

The fourth annual Groundhog Day Medallion Hunt in Cloquet has ended. Make Abell of Cloquet found the medallion hidden near City Hall on the morning of Feb. 12. Mike won $510 in gift cards and certificates for Cloquet businesses. The Medallion Hunt kicked off on Groundhog Day after the 6-inch circular resin medallion bearing the likeness of a groundhog and containing a penny was hidden in its top-secret location. Cloquet Community Ed & Rec coordinates the hunt. WKLK Radio partners to read the clues daily and the City of Cloquet allows organizers to hide the medallion somewhere on city-owned land, including Cloquet's many parks.
