STUDENTS of the month

Samuel Gaffney is Student of the Month in the first-grade St. Anthony Class at Queen of Peace Catholic School. Samuel comes into class every morning with a smile on his face, ready to work. He follows the classroom rules and works hard to accomplish his tasks. Samuel has made amazing progress this year and is very adaptable to varying situations. He makes friends wherever he goes and is always ready to lend a helping hand. Samuel is a student who never gives up. He always works hard to do his best. You're doing an incredible job, Samuel. Joseph Kalm is in the 5th-grade St. Peter Claver Class. Joseph gives everything a try, whether it's a favorite activity or something he's not so fond of. He is also always willing to help out in the classroom when asked. Joseph's attitude makes him the St. Peter Claver Class Student of the Month. Mrs. Lembke, his teacher, says, "Joseph has seen the power of giving everything he can!" Joseph is involved with basketball and Destination Imagination, and is enjoying his time with a new puppy when he's at home.
