Chamber Home, Business & Sports Show starts today

The annual Cloquet Area Home, Business and Sports Show runs 1-8 p.m. today at Black Bear Casino and Resort, and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday. Admission to the event and parking is free.

Enjoy getting to know what local businesses have to offer, along with exhibits, crafts, demonstrations activities and entertainment for all ages. Included in this year’s event are magic shows featuring the Amazing Charles; performances by Shooting Stars Dance studio; balloon animals for the kids; a kids’ craft area sponsored by Community Memorial Hospital; booths featuring crafts and home-based businesses; booths featuring local commercial businesses and community organizations; and opportunities for pictures with the Easter Bunny on Saturday.

Other special events include balloon animals 3-7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday; a magic show at 5 p.m. Friday, and again at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday; and Shooting Stars dancers will perform at 6:30 p.m. Friday and noon Saturday.
