A hometown newspaper with a local office, local owners & lots of local news
Hello, readers! I guess the results of the state boys basketball tournament appearance didn’t go as hoped for, but our team, the coaches, the students and fans represented Cromwell-Wright in spectacular fashion. We couldn’t be more proud of you and it sure was a great ride for this group of guys. The goal of one more was reached, so what more can you say?
As many of you know, when Minetties burned down, I also lost my complete collection of Wrong Days Buttons. It is sad to realize they are gone, but thankfully the Wright Senior Citizens have a complete set. I have most of the others, just may be missing the first two or three of them, so if you have any extra WD buttons, I’d love to try to make a new collection for the café when it is rebuilt.
More than 200 people attended the funeral for Darrel Johnson on March 18. He will be missed for the twinkle in his eyes and his ready smile. Rest in peace, dear Darrel! His family thanks everyone for all their cards, gifts, flowers, thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
