STUDENTS of the month

Catherine French is in the 4th-grade St. Michael Class. Cate is a responsible, motivated, and hard-working student who always finishes her assignments in a timely manner and puts forth her best effort. In class, she is helpful, curious, enthusiastic, and eager to participate in activities and discussions. Altar serving, singing, and reading at Mass are some of the things she enjoys the most at Queen of Peace. Cate is a dedicated and energetic participant in the Student Council as its secretary, as well as a member of the St. Cecilia Guitar and Violin Club. Her teacher, Mrs. Petrovich, says, "Cate is beloved among her friends because of her outgoing, compassionate, and kindhearted personality, and her great sense of humor. She exemplifies a Queen of Peace student, sharing her loyalty and love for our school with everyone around her."

Michael Etongue-Mayer, of the St. Therese Class, is a great role model in his second-grade class as well as the rest of the school. Michael works very hard on his schoolwork, along with karate outside of school. He always has a positive attitude and is a kind friend to everyone. His teacher, Mrs. Weix, says, "It is a pleasure having the opportunity to work with Michael this year!"
