Return of the skatepark

Cloquet's Brady Hall takes a turn shoveling snow at the Cloquet Skatepark Saturday, barely missing fellow skateboarder Brady Doran with the heavy wet snow. A group of kids were skateboarding and riding scooters on the upper ramp Saturday, which was dry because Doran had cleared it (down to a layer of ice) with a snowblower he brought from home the week before. A group of teens were working to try to shovel other sections of the skatepark, and hoping for lots of sunshine to hasten the melting and drying process. The skatepark is located in Athletic Park at the corner of 14th Street and Prospect.
