A second public meeting regarding the proposed $14.4 million school building referendum in Wrenshall is scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 17 at the Wrenshall School. Referendum plans include converting the now-closed rec building into a space for technical education, adding a new main gym adjacent to the current gym and remodeling the pool area to add four classroom areas and more space for athletics. More than half of the $14.4 million would go to improving the air quality in the portions of the building built in 1956 and 1963. More information on the May 14 Wrenshall referendum vote, including tax impacts and construction schematics, can be found on the school district website at http://www.isd100.org/district/wrenshall-school-referendum-2019.
