The Bombers rode the strong pitching of Isaac Golen who pitched three innings and did not give up a hit. Max Salzer was stellar at the plate with a 2-for-4 effort and an RBI. Conner Buell added a double and twos hits and Gavin John also collected two hits with a pair of RBIs. Golen helped his own cause at the plate with a 2-for-5 effort and an RBI.

CARLTON-11 (5-innings)

Kris Herman was huge on the mound for the Bulldogs by striking out 12 Polar Bears and only allowing two hits. Herman also aided his own cause by going 2-for-2 with an RBI. Offensively the Bulldogs had big nights from; Austin Parker who was 2-for-3 with three RBIs and two runs scored, Kaden Crane who belted out a double and added two RBIs as well as a run scored and Dan Egger who chipped in with two hits, one of which was a double, and an RBI.

MOOSE LAKE-WILLOW RIVER-2

The Rebels ran into an offensive buzz saw on Thursday when the Vikings crossed the plate 12 times in the fifth inning to take the easy win. Both Dillon Sjogren and Andrew Miller smacked out three hits for the Vikings.

WRENSHALL-26

McGREGOR/CROMWELL-WRIGHT-8

Randy Wimmer fanned five and allowed just one hit on the mound for the Wrens, while Andrew Silverio ripped four hits and had a pair of RBIs. Ryder Wrazidlo added a double and two RBIs as well as three runs scored for the Wrens, while Mason Perry smacked out three hits and had five RBIs.

FRIDAY, APRIL 26

The Wrens had plenty of offense, but they struggled keeping East Central off the board and fell in a tight game on Friday night. Wyatt Kelley had a big day at the plate for the Wrens with three hits, including a double and an RBI. Andrew Silverio chipped in with two hits, one of which was a triple, as well as three RBIs.

SOUTH RIDGE-11 (5-innings)

NORTH WOODS-1

Winning pitcher Matt Clark gave up six hits in three innings and fanned six in victory. At the plat Connor Bushbaum belted a home run and ended up with four RBIs. Elias Tuominen had a double, score three times and had an RBI for the Panthers. Mason Lane also added a pair of hits, one of which was a double, and he also scored two runs and Riley Kinsley finished with two hits for South Ridge.

The Eskomos struggled against the Warriors on offense as Cade Wallace went the distance for Warroad on the mound. Esko got a pair of hits from Josh Bolgrean and Mason Vinje scored both runs for the Eskomos.

Playing in the first of two games at Aitkin the Eskomos Noah Furcht pitched five innings and gave up five hits while striking five in picking up the pitching victory. Dawson Hoffman hit a home run for the Eskomos and added three RBIs, James LeGarde had two hits, two RBIs and a double, Hubie Gonsorowski had a double and a pair of hits, Peyton Koskela drilled a home run and Mason Vinje had a double and an RBI.

Playing in Cloquet the Wrens put up plenty of runs, but they struggled with keeping the Mariners from crossing home plate. Andrew Silverio continue his recent hot streak with the bat by rapping out two hits, including a double, and Randy Wimmer slugged two triples and had four RBIs.
