Sappi completes streamline of plant

Earlier this week, Sappi North America announced the completion of a $25 million capital investment at the Cloquet mill, which was to “debottleneck” areas of the pulp manufacturing process. Managing director Mike Schultz said the investment will bring an additional 30,000 tons per year of pulp production capacity for Sappi’s dissolving wood pulp customers.
