Ryan Gray’s pitching was dominant plus the Bulldogs got plenty of hits in securing the win in a game played in Cloquet. Gray gave up just three hits in seven innings of work and struck out eight to pick up the win. Kaden Crane went 3-for-4 with a homer and Gray aided his own cause with two hits. Dan Eggert also had two hits for the Bulldogs.

South Ridge-1

The Vikings shocked the Panthers behind a strong pitching effort from Andrew Miller, who gave up just four hits while striking out 15 Panthers. Joey Janke had a double for South Ridge and an RBI. Matt Clark took the loss on the mound, giving up two runs in four innings of pitching on just four hits.

Hermantown-2

Cloquet-0

Hermantown’s Jeb Paczynski held the Lumberjack bats in check by allowing only four hits at Ed Mettner Field in Cloquet. Cade Anderson pitched well for the ’Jacks by giving up only one hit in four innings of work, but it was not enough to deliver the win.

Wrenshall-9

Floodwood-3

Mason Perry got the win on the mound for the Wrens and also contributed to the offense with three hits and scoring three runs. Wyatt Kelley also had a couple of hits and an RBI. Eli Krisak had a pair of hits for the Wrens.

Moose Lake-Willow River 8

Barnum-6

Henry Ribich, Cooper Bexell, Andrew Burn and Danny Whited all had two hits for the Rebels in the win. Isaac Golen led the Bombers with three hits and a pair of RBIs. Max Salzer, Nathan Finifrock and Conner Buell all collected two hits for Barnum.

Jack Sorenson went 2-for-2 and had two RBIs for the Lumberjacks in their loss at home.

Peyton Koskela tossed a five-inning one-hitter for the Eskomos. At the plate Josh Bolgrean knocked out three hits and had four RBIs. Noah Furcht added three hits and three RBIs and Jaustin Piepho added a couple of hits and a couple of RBIs.

North Branch-4

The Lumberjacks had hot bats in the home win as Cade Anderson and Nick Baker both had a pair of hits for Cloquet. Both of Anderson’s hits were doubles and he added an RBI. Baker also collected an RBI for Cloquet. Jack Sorenson took the pitch win by tossing two innings and giving up no runs.

Deer River-13

Wrenshall-6

Hunter Holmes had a double among his two hits and Wyatt Kelley had two hits and an RBI while Mason Perry also delivered an RBI.

Nashwauk-Keewatin-4

Andrew Silverio pitched well for the Wrens, but Nashwauk had just enough offense to take the win. Silverio and Wyatt Kelley each had two hits for Wrenshall and both had a double among their two hits.

South Ridge-8

Mason Lane took the win on the mound by not giving up a hit in his three innings of work. On offense, the Panthers got 2-for-3 efforts from both Logan Young and Joey Janke, who also had two runs scored and an RBI. Connor Bushbaum had a home run among his two hits as well as three RBIs. Riley Kinsley finished with a double and an RBI and Nick Larson blasted a triple for the Panthers.

South Ridge-10

Deer River-0 (5-innings)

Kinsley delivered the pitching win by allowing only one hit. Ben Woods smacked out a double and had two RBIs. Aaron Bennett went 2-for-2 and had an RBI and Tyler Anderson also scored a couple of runs for the Panthers.

Esko-9

Aitkin-4

Noah Furcht gave up two hits on the mound in taking the victory for the Eskomos. Furcht also helped his own cause by going 2-for-4 at the plate. James LeGarde went 3-for-4 with a double and a homer as well as picking up three RBIs. Dawson Hoffman also had two hits and two RBIs for the Eskomos and Hubie Gonsorowski bashed out a double and scored a run for Esko.

Danny Whited gave up four earned runs in seven innings of work to lead the Rebels to the win on the mound. Henry Ribich recorded two hits and two runs score for ML-WR; Jordan Fjusne had three hits and two runs scored and Cooper Bexell scored twice and had a hit. Blake Juhl doubled, scored three runs and had a pair of RBI. Logan Privette had three hits, including a double, and he scored a pair of runs. Both Carter Johnson and Andrew Burn chipped in for the offense with Johnson rapping out a hit and scoring a run and Burn scoring twice and picking up two RBIs.

Max Salzer had a double and an RBI for the Bombers at the plate and Isaac Golen took the loss on the mound, giving up two runs in four innings of work.

Wrenshall-10

Wrenshall lost the slugfest on the road despite putting up double-digit runs. Randy Wimmer had a home run among his two hits to go along with four RBIs. Zeke Rousseau-Sheff added a pair of hits and two runs scored. Andrew Silverio went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and two runs scored. Eli Krisak added an RBI and had a hit for the Wrens.
