Following are recent felony and gross misdemeanor court cases resolved in Carlton County Sixth District Court. Arresting agencies are abbreviated as follows: Cloquet Police Department (CPD), Carlton County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), Fond du Lac Police Department (FDL), Moose Lake Police Department (MLPD), Minnesota State Patrol (MSP).

Sloan, William Joshua, 40, Cloquet, violation of protective order, felony. Sentenced to St. Cloud for 24 months on May 17. CPD

Richards, Trenton Alexander, 28, Mahtowa, first-degree possession of cocaine or methamphetamine, stay of adjudication, supervised probation for five years. May 15. CCSO

Lindstrom, Ingemar E., 40, Duluth, third-degree DWI, gross misdemeanor, supervised probation two years. May 15. MSP

Dufault, Angela Mae, 36, Cloquet, felony receiving stolen property, stay of adjudication, supervised probation three years. May 20. CCSO

Lopez, Carlos, Juan, 32, Hinckley, fifth-degree possession, gross misdemeanor, supervised probation three years. May 20. CCSD. Felony receiving stolen property, committed to St. Cloud, stay for one year, supervised probation three years. FDL

Boster, Jesse Leroy, 29, motor vehicle theft, felony, sentenced to St. Cloud 23 months. May 20. CPD

Nelson, Skye Amber, 30, felony possession of a controlled substance, credit for time served 77 days, sentenced to three years probation. May 20. FDL

Copeland, Derick Allen, 36, Minneapolis, gross misdemeanor giving a false name to a peace officer, credit for time served 113 days. May 22. MSP

Ketola, Gordon James, 28, Wrenshall, fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct, committed to St. Cloud 39 months. Stayed for five years supervised probation, five years register as a predatory offender. May 24. CCSO

Chelin-Anderson, Anne Marie, 58, Holyoke, third-degree felony criminal sexual conduct/secure treatment of other treatment employee, stay. Supervised probation five years, predatory offender registration yequired. May 23. MLPD

Abreu, Dustin Scott, 25, South Range Wis., felony criminal sexual conduct in the third degree, June 1, 2016. Amended court decision, supervised probation three years. Register as predatory offender. Violation of probation on March 4.

Church, Justin Dale, 31, Moose Lake, felony assault-fourth degree, secure treatment facility, demonstrable bodily harm, Sentenced to St. Cloud for 13 months. May 29. MLPD

Goodreau, Erik John, 39, Duluth, gross misdemeanor violation of domestic abuse no contact order, sentenced to local confinement one year. Stayed 362 days for two years of conditions: No threats of violence, no acts of violence. May 30. CCSO

Jasperson, Kyle Branden, 38, Stillwater, felony fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle, convicted Dec. 31, 2018, sentenced to supervised probation three years. May 29. MSP

Verbist, Orion Harrison Sinclair, 26, Carlton Law Enforcement Center, felony first-degree assault, committed to St. Cloud, 86 months. May 31. CPD
