Letters: Fahlstrom was prolific writer

I noticed the “Harry’s Gang” column on history in the July 12 issue and Pete’s mention of the late Paul Fahlstrom. Colonel Fahlstrom (USMC, Ret.) was born and raised in Cloquet and I am pleased that you mention his book, “A Short History of Old Cloquet.” You might want to inform the library that they can get a replacement copy easily from the Carlton County Historical Society or from Bergquist Imports. The Carlton County Historical Society has a number of Paul Fahlstrom’s books for sale, and a visit there is well worth it.

Col. Fahlstrom was co-author with Tom Gleason of the seminal “An Introduction to UAV [unmanned aerial vehicles] Systems,” which is still in print, and pretty much required reading for anyone with an interest in drones as used today.
