A hometown newspaper with a local office, local owners & lots of local news
Our sincere apologies to all our friends who had to wait so long to get a share from our Ruby’s Pantry July 24 distribution. Our truck driver from the North Branch warehouse facility tripped and broke his leg that morning as he was getting ready to leave. It took a new driver almost an hour to get to the warehouse and get on the road.
Our volunteers worked as quickly as possible but I realize it was still a long wait for you. Thank you for your patience, and a very special thanks to John from B&B Market for waiting with his forklift in order to get the truck unloaded ASAP when it arrived. (Editor’s note: Ruby’s Pantry comes to the Cloquet Armory 10-11:30 a.m. the fourth Wednesday of every month.)
