Wood City Music Festival rocks on

Blessed with both clear skies and a full audience, the Wood City Music Festival set out yet again last Saturday to extend the hand of God to all who would listen. The free, family-friendly event featured Christian musicians from across the country, including Adelaide, Kutless, and Sean Feucht of Bethel Music. Local bands included the Holy Hootenanners and the Plowboys, above.

Paul Nordvall, the leader of the festival's prayer tent, explained that the music not only introduces people to Christian music but "brings the community together."

The festivities last Saturday were not limited to music. The balloon animal station, bouncy castle, and face painting station added to the fun. Festival director Lee Harris estimated between 6,000 and 8,000 people turned out Saturday for the all-day event. "Perfect weather. Amazing people. Smiles everywhere," Harris said. "Honestly, it was my favorite festival. God did everything He promised."
