Evelyn Fleisch Pearson, 96, of Cloquet, Minnesota went to be with her Lord and Savior surrounded by her family on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Cloquet.
She was born to Clarence and Eva (Pigman) Hayes on Feb. 12, 1923. Evelyn was a lifelong resident of Cloquet and was employed for seven years at Wood Conversion and 15 years as a home health aide for Carlton County.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of 42 years, Stan Fleisch; granddaughter Annie; brother Del Hayes; sister Marion Hughes; and husband Gene Pearson.
Survivors include her sister Helen (Phil) Clark; her children Bill Fleisch, Linda (Dick) Lawson, Fred (Karen) Fleisch, Gretchen Roe and Jennifer (Scott) Noren; her grandchildren Jon Rock, Jeff (Christina) Rock, Sarah (Jesse) Bertogliat, Adam (Skye) Fleisch, Andrew (Jodi) Fleisch, Arien Fleisch, Cortney (Dusty) Carlson, Whitney (Tony) Gladen, Riley Roe, Zach Noren and Kenzie (Matt) Fischer; and great-grandchildren Mario, Isabella, Olivia and Stella Bertogliat, Emerson and Rowan Rock, Hope, Nolan and Jaxson Fleisch, Braxton and Arlo Fleisch, Harper, Hadley and Hayes Carlson, Trenity, Isaac and Finley Gladen and Mitzi Fischer.
Visitation: 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Celebration of Life on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019 at Grace Church in Cloquet.
Evelyn donated her body to the University of Minnesota Anatomy Bequest Program. Her final resting place will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, alongside Stan.
