The Lumberjacks rolled to a 23-0 halftime lead on their way to a home victory over the Hunters. Markus Pokornowski rushed for 238 yards and Cole Ketola added 104 yards on the ground for the ‘Jacks, who finished with 528 yards of total offense.

Karson Holm scored the final touchdown of the game for Two Harbors as the Agates downed the Eskomos in Esko. Esko quarterback Dylan Vinje had a big day by rushing for 119 yards and going 5-for-6 for 162 yards in the passing department. One of Vinje’s touchdown passes covered 92 yards to Preston Lowe.

Playing at home in Willow River the Rebels ran out to a 14-0 first quarter lead and then put the game away in the second half. Mason Olson tossed a pair of touchdown passes. Logan Orvedahl scored on a 60 yard touchdown romp and Blake Juhl returned an interception 23 yards for a score in leading the Rebels.

Apparently losing the first game of the year served as a wake up call for the Panthers. After dropping their first game of the year to Carlton-Wrenshall 7-6 the Panthers have now rebounded to win back-to-back games easily. Last week the Panthers downed Cromwell-Wright 36-0 and this week they pounded the Timberwolves.

Justin Swanson scored three times on runs of 20, 10 and 19 yards to lead Carlton-Wrenshall. Both Matt Santkuyl and Isaiah Johnson scored twice for the Raptors in the home win.
