Remember the pet microchip clinic for Cloquet and other Carlton County residents 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28 at Dunlap Island Park in Cloquet.
The event is free for Carlton County residents. Proof of residency with photo ID is required. There is a limit of three pets per household, while supplies last. All pets must be leashed or kenneled.
Nonresidents are also welcome to come and get microchips for $20.
This event is hosted by the Cloquet police department, Carlton County and Northern Lakes Rescue.
Northern Lakes Rescue is bringing adoptable pets and offering additional low-cost vaccinations (distemper and Bordetella available for additional cost, $20 for both or $12 each). Nail trims are $10 extra.
If you plan on coming, please check “I’m going” on the Cloquet Pet Microchip Clinic Facebook event page if possible, to help ensure enough staff and microchips.
