Cloquet homecoming royalty crowned

Cloquet High School seniors Madi Vermeersch and Trey Harkins were crowned Homecoming Queen and King on Friday, Oct. 4 at Bromberg Field in a time-honored tradition.

"We had a good crowd," Carlson said. "It was good football weather." The halftime celebration included introductions of 10 pairs of candidates and a guessing game of "almost royalty" before the crowning of Harkins and Vermeersch. Candidates for queen included Brylee Kiminski, Jaxie Pogorelc, Lucy Sinkkonen, Sydney Hall, Sophie Brenner, Brianna Despot, Kiana Bender, Emmie Ellena and Aleyxs Serafin.
