Comment on stormwater plans

As mandated by the Clean Water Act and the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, the city of Cloquet has developed a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Program. The SWPPP, a document unique to Cloquet, is a required piece of the Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System permit necessary to own and operate a storm sewer system. The purpose of the SWPPP is to prevent pollution of our state’s rivers, lakes and streams. An important part of this goal is public education. In order to help achieve this objective the city will be accepting public comments regarding the adequacy of the SWPPP the week of October 28.
