Carlton High School was set to play Ely Wednesday night. If Carlton keeps winning, they would play the winner of Greenway vs. Floodwood the same night in a Section 7A championship game at 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2 at Hibbing’s Lincoln School.
Section 7AA
Esko High School was set to play Proctor Wednesday night. The winner will advance to the
Section 7AA championship game at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2 at Cloquet Middle School.
The state tournaments run from Thursday, Nov. 7 through Sunday, Nov. 9 at the Xcel Energy Center.
Swimming & diving
Saturday, Nov. 2 at 11 a.m. at Mesabi East
Saturday, Nov. 9 7A Sections at Hibbing High School.
Girls hockey
After scrimmages at Eveleth-Gilbert Saturday, Nov. 2 and Marshall School Monday, Nov. 4, the CEC girls hockey team will play its first game of the 2019 season at home against Proctor, starting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7 at Northwoods Arena.
