Veterans Day in Cloquet

All veterans and their loved ones are invited to a Veterans Day dinner at the Hebert Kennedy VFW Post 3979 at 210 Arch St. in Cloquet from 3-6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11. The meal is free for veterans, and $10 for everyone else. Enjoy turkey, mashed potatoes and all the trimmings and gather together on this important day. Sponsored by American Legion Auxiliary Post 262 and the Cloquet VFW Auxiliary Post 3979.

Veterans Day in Carlton

Veterans will be honored at Carlton High School from 9-10 a.m. Monday in the large gym. All veterans and their families and community members are invited to attend.

The Carlton VFW will have a Veterans Day Program at 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, followed by a roast beef dinner at 5:30 p.m. The dinner is free for veterans. For others, the price is $8 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Children under 5 are free.

Veterans Day in Cromwell and Wright

The Veterans Day program at the Villa Vista for all area vets and their families will be held Monday, Nov. 11 at 9:30 a.m. The school choir will be helping with the program. Community members are also welcome, and veterans are encouraged to stay for lunch. There will be a reading of names of our area active duty military.

All veterans are also invited to Cromwell-Wright School’s Veterans Day program Nov. 11 at 1:30 p.m.

State of Minnesota Veterans Day Celebration

The Official State of Minnesota Veterans Day Program is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, November 11 at the Veterans Memorial Community Center in Inver Grove Heights. The Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs invites Veterans, families, elected officials and community members to celebrate and honor all Veterans who have served this country.

A free community breakfast will be served from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. prior to the start of the program at 10 a.m.
