Lions provide vision screenings

Larry Penk, George Saarela and Dick Singpiel from the Carlton Lions Club complete a vision test for a Carlton student. The Lions use a vision screener that evaluates nine different areas of vision. The Carlton Area Lions Club has provided this screening to preschool-first grade students in the Carlton, Esko and Wrenshall schools. The screening device is funded through the Lions International. Their goal is to provide this screening to all schools within Carlton County.
