Jesse Dean Myers, 37, of Cloquet, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020, in
Hayward, Wisconsin.
He was born March 3, 1982, in Duluth to Dean and Lynn Myers.
Jesse was raised on the shores of Big Lake in Cloquet. He graduated from Cloquet High School in 2001 and soon after went to work for the family owned and operated business, Lake Superior Cabs, manufacturing off-road heavy-equipment cabs. There, Jesse became a proficient self-taught welder and fabricator.
Jesse was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Helen Huhta, William Myers, and Marlene Hilton.
He is survived by his parents, Lynn and Dean Myers of Cloquet; sisters, Tricia Myers of Duluth, and Dawn (Andy) French of Cloquet; longtime girlfriend, Laramie Mittlesdorf (her daughter, Madden) of Hayward; his beloved canine companion, Snowy, lovingly referred to by Jesse as "Puppy;" aunts and uncles, Judy (Kenny) Knudsen of St. Cloud, Gordy (Donna) Huhta of Superior, Wisconsin, Terri (Neal) Vance of Bemidji, Bill Myers of Brookston, and Linda Eastgate of Cloquet; and his nieces and nephews, Jason, Jayme, Haille, Lexee (her daughter, Harlee), Brayden, Brenna, Clare, Cate and Coco, who affectionately referred to him as "Uncle Jesse" as well as many cousins and friends.
A memorial service was held Jan. 14 in the Atkins-Northland Funeral Home, Cloquet.
