Brian Holm, 60, of Missoula, Montana passed away peacefully of natural causes at Community Memorial Hospital on July 8, 2020, in Missoula.
He was born in Cloquet on April 27, 1960.
Brian grew up in Cloquet, New Brighton and Cromwell. He enjoyed special times spent living with Grandpa Tom in Cromwell when he was a boy. After graduating from Cromwell High School in 1978 he attended vocational school in Brainerd to become an auto body technician. Brian moved to Montana to be closer to his brother Tom, and lived and worked in Hamilton, Corvallis, Lolo and Missoula. Brian was an avid Mopar fanatic and attended car shows regularly. Restoring Mopars was one of his greatest pleasures in life as he earned awards for his restoration work and displayed his cars in museums. Brian married Nancy Heidel in Missoula on August 15, 1998. He enjoyed snowmobiling, boating, and hunting in Montana, proudly displaying two enormous bucks in his home.
Brian was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy; his parents, Quentin Holm and Donna (Zak) Howell; brother Tom Holm; sister-in-law, Angel Holm; and a nephew, William Lee Jr.
Survivors include his sisters, Betty (Bill) Lee of Carlton, and Rebecca (Kevin) Moes of Kentucky; brother Robert Holm of Cromwell; stepmother, Snookie Holm of Cromwell; niece, Jessica Lee of Carlton; nephews Tom Holm of Idaho, Ryan (Brooke) Lee of Iowa, and Nick (Melissa) Lee of Nebraska; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation: 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. memorial service Thursday, July 23 in Nelson Funeral Care. Inurnment will be held in Eagle Lake Cemetery in Cromwell following the service. To view the guestbook, visit http://www.nelsonfuneralcare.net.
