The Minnesota Department of Health will be hosting two days of community testing for COVID-19 at the St. Louis County Fairgrounds in Chisholm next week. The testing will be open to everyone, including those without symptoms, and will be free.
The testing will be held on Tuesday, July 28 from 12:00 – 7:00 P.M. and on Wednesday, July 29 from 10:00 – 5 P.M. at the St. Louis County Fairgrounds (1010 Discovery Drive, Chisholm, MN). The testing does not require insurance, and people are encouraged to sign up ahead of time to help avoid waiting in line. People can sign up here: https://www.health.state.mn.us/diseases/coronavirus/teststlouis.html.
“The COVID-19 pandemic remains a serious issue for our community, and I encourage anyone who is worried that they have been exposed to it to take advantage of this free testing opportunity”, said Senator David Tomassoni (DFL-Chisholm). “While our cases have been low, if you have any doubt about possibly contracting this virus or if you just want to know if you have it but are asymptomatic, this is an opportunity to get tested free of charge.”
