Obituary: Kathryn Solomon

On Tuesday, September 1, 2020, Kathryn Martha Solomon of Mahtowa passed away peacefully at the age of 82.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 63 years, Kenneth; sons, Tom (Sue), Tim (Judy), and Terry (Karen); grandchildren, Samantha (Nathan), Sarah, Justin, and Lee; 3 great-granddaughters; brothers, Roger (New York), Chuck (California), Howard Jr. (Wisconsin) and Daniel (Wisconsin); and by numerous relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Martha Mackey.

Kaye with Kenny raised their three sons in Esko, and remained there for many years before moving to Mahtowa, near Tom and Tim. She was a spitfire, a loving wife, caring mother, and amazing grandmother and great-grandmother to grandchildren and great-granddaughters, her pride and joy.

At Kaye’s request, no service will be held. Her memory will be celebrated in the hearts of all her loved ones.
