Dianne (Stevens) Johnson, 87, of Cloquet passed away on Sunday, Oct. 18, 2020 in her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on Feb. 23, 1933 in Cloquet to Joe and Marjorie (Sheff) Stevens and graduated from Cloquet High School in 1951. Dianne attended Duluth State Teachers College, now UMD. She was united in marriage to Darell M. Johnson on May 1, 1954 in Cloquet.
Dianne was an avid reader, and enjoyed playing bridge with her friends, gardening, and walking. In her younger years, she enjoyed cross country skiing and camping with her family. She was a great mom! Every morning she did her crossword puzzles and still could beat her kids at Bananagrams. She was also active in the Cloquet Presbyterian Church.
Dianne was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Darell; and two brothers, Joe Stevens and Tom Stevens.
She leaves behind her three children, Debra (Steve Kramer) Coffey, Kathryn (Ed) Fuhs, and Paul Johnson; her sister, Lynne (Ben) Roginski; her brother, Patrick Stevens; four grandchildren, Sara, Daniel, Michelle, and David; one great-grandson, Kayden; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank St. Croix Hospice for the care given to our mom.
A Celebration of Life for Dianne will be held at a future date. To sign the family guestbook, please visit http://www.nelsonfuneralcare.net.
