Obituaries: Gail Louise Anderson

Gail Louise Anderson was born in Cloquet on Jan. 16, 1951. She entered heaven's gates on Nov. 8, 2020, surrounded by her family.

Gail was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed knitting, shopping, watching "Days of Our Lives," and spending time visiting with her brother-in-law, Bill Anderson, and his wife, Lynn, and his sister-in-law, Clara Skelton. Gail loved decorating for the holidays and spending time cooking and baking for her family.

Gail had an unwavering faith in God; she was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Cloquet. She married Richard A. Anderson on July 18, 1970, at St. Casimir's Catholic Church in Cloquet. Gail and Richard lived and spent most of their life in Cloquet, where they raised five children. They loved spending time camping with their kids and other family.

Gail was preceded in death by her father, Arnie J. Hill; brother-in-law, Charlie Anderson and his wife, Bev Anderson; and sister Margie Swenson.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Richard A. Anderson; her sons, Mark A. Anderson, Chris J. Anderson, and Kevin R. Anderson; her daughters, Melissa A. (Shawn) Lymer and Connie L. Anderson; her mother, June Hill; sisters Diane Johnson and Marie Loumanen; brother, Randy Hill; 10 grandchildren, Austin Anderson, Jasmine Eastman, Levi Lymer, Logan Lymer, Maddie Anderson, Brooklyn Ferreira, Brady Anderson, Makena Anderson, Lexi Anderson, and Oakley Anderson; one aunt, Blanche Karjala; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services are pending due to Covid-19 and will be scheduled at a later date with Nelson Funeral Care.
