Cloquet football players honored

Awards for the 2020 high school football season have been handed down and Cloquet had several players named to the All-Section 7AAAA Coaches All-Section Team as well as the 2020 All-Sub District Northeast Red Team.

The Lumberjacks had two players named to the All-Section team: senior center and defensive tackle Mason Erickson and junior linebacker and running back Jack Sorenson. Cody Tibbetts, a senior, and Reese Turnbull, a junior, were named to the honorable mention team.

Erickson also was named to the Sub-District Red Team along with senior lineman Reese Kolodge and junior tight end and defensive end Will Turnbull. Named to the Sub-District Red honorable mention squad were junior fullback and linebacker Marshall Hayes and sophomore running back and strong safety Reese Sheldon.
