Our sympathy to the family of Ron Moen, 74, who died Jan. 17 after a six-year battle with cancer. He will be missed by partner LuAnn Freiermuth and his children and grandchildren. There will be no funeral service and his ashes will be interred at a later date with immediate family.

I also heard that Cromwell High School graduate Lillian Koskinen passed away recently.

The Barb and Tim Dahl family were finally able to meet for their annual Christmas gathering. Sounds like they had a great time.

The Lawler Outlaw Vintage snowmobile run will take place Saturday starting in Lawler with registration 10-11 a.m. at Jackson’s Hole and also at the fire on the trail at 1:30 p.m. Judging will be at the fire, 2:30-3 p.m. Trophy categories are Best Dressed, Best Barn Find, Rattiest Sled, Loudest Sled and Best Restored Sled. Ruby’s Pantry will be open 9:30-11 a.m. Feb. 11 at the Cromwell Park Pavilion. No boxes or bags needed. Volunteers will fill boxes and bags and bring them to your vehicle. Cost is $20 per share.

The recent Christmas Caring program was a big success, and Pam and Ruth thank everyone who participated for their generous donations. The goal each year is to provide for all the children referred to them. Thanks for helping fulfill the Christmas wishes of the children.

(Darci) Dahl; he had emergency surgery after his appendix burst recently. Ouch.

It looks like the Wright Area Seniors are meeting again at the Senior Center in Wright at 1 p.m. on Wednesdays.

The school is offering a study hall 2:30 to 4:30 for high school students.

The Pennies for Patients program has kicked off, in hopes of helping both children and adults in the fight against blood cancer. The penny drive runs through Feb. 12. Yearbooks are on sale for $50 until Feb. 12. The price will go up after that.

So far no one has filed for the open position on the Farmers Co-op store board of directors. If you are interested, let one of the current board members know by calling Tim (218-357-2251) at the store or leave a note at the store for the board.
