Michael C. Koncal, 65, of Wrenshall passed away Feb. 17, 2021 at home.
He was born Dec. 6, 1955 in Duluth, the son of Charles and Pauline (Nichol) Koncal. Mike graduated from Proctor High School and was united in marriage to Pamela Maki in Cloquet on Oct. 22, 1977. He worked as an electrician for Midwest Energy Resources in Superior. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, snowmobiling, family gatherings, grilling and spending time with his grandkids.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Jeanne Koncal; his father-in-law, Allen Maki; and his special dog, Nevaeh.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela; one son, Jeremy Koncal; two daughters, Melanie (Shane) Schwartz and Kristy Koncal; three grandchildren, Devin, Dylan and Hailey; five sisters, Judy (Howard) Robertson, Janet Jacobs, Joan (John) Rowe, Joy (Rob) Goedhart, and Jackie (Steve) Zapp; and numerous nieces and nephews.
