Dawn French helped in an effort by St. Croix Hospice, Midwest Geriatrics, the United Way of Carlton County and B&B Market to fill enough reusable shopping bags for all 80-plus residents. The idea was to show support to those who have been especially socially isolated during the Covid-19 pandemic and to provide them with pertinent, helpful resources, French said. The bags contained a county resource guide, sanitizer, cake and cookies and other food items, pens, activity sheets, key chain wallets and more. "People are still scared and isolated. There are all these community agencies here for support, but not everyone knows about them," said French, who works for St. Croix. Armon said
