The 56th Wrong Days is now on record as being one of the best ever. The Friday night steak fry, pie social, O-G-N-I-B, Minnesota Sings and fireworks were very successful, along with all the activities Saturday and Sunday. Thank you, thank you to all who participated, donated or helped in any way. The cash drawings for the buttons went to Tim Dahl, $100, Kieriahna Goodin, $50 and Jim Walli, $25. More than 400 button tickets were sold. There are still a few 2021 WD buttons available; please let me know if you are interested in having one as a souvenir.
The Extreme Team youth group is doing very well and is raising lots of funds for their trip to the National Youth Convention next summer. But, they are out of room and really need a storage unit to hold everything. They also feel it would be beneficial to have a large van or bus; that is not as pressing as the storage issue, but they are still throwing it out there. If you can help, or have ideas on how the group can meet either of these needs while sparing their trip funds, please contact Liz Kabus at 218-428-6733 or send donations to WELCA Youth, Liz Kabus, 1273 Schliauter Road, Tamarack MN 55787.
