The staff is so important, she said, and most of them have been working overtime to keep things rolling — so any positive word of thanks or encouragement are welcome. They also have an “appreciation jar” for anyone to submit a message of thanks for a staff member for something they did to make the residents’ lives more enjoyable or comforting. The notes will be shared at staff meetings.
