Beverly Rae Whorton, 79, formerly of Cloquet and Carlton, passed away peacefully Sept. 24, 2021, in Trenton, Missouri. She was born July 29, 1942.
Beverly was a wife, mother, sister, grandma, and friend to all. She was active in the community her whole life ... whichever community was fortunate to have her in it. Nobody worked harder, or gave more, without expectation or hesitation. A true saint.
She was a pianist for church and high school theater; a dedicated farmer and conservationist; singer, farmer/forester/politician's wife, sports mom; Chiefs, Royals and Vikings fan (two out of three ain't bad!); and servant of God. That's but a few roles Beverly played.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Jim; sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Eric, and Shelley and McKenna; grandchildren, Madison, Drew Mendez, Wilder, and Coltrane; sisters, Elaine Anderson, Marge Schapaugh, Marylin Dunn and Mildred Doughty; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life may be planned in the future.
Donations and tributes can be sent to the North 65 Senior Center, 2901 Hoover Dr., Trenton MO 64683 or Green Hills Animal Shelter, 3041 E. 10th St., Trenton MO 64683.
