Brandon Allen Blacketter, 24, passed away suddenly Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021. He was born March 5, 1997, to Brad “Raff” and Melanie “Mel” (Rabideaux) Blacketter in Cloquet.
Brandon graduated from Cloquet High School and worked as a laborer at various places over the years. Brandon was a skilled boxer, and traveled to several destinations for his fights throughout the United States. He also enjoyed playing Xbox with his cousins, friends, and especially his brothers. Brandon enjoyed sports, being outdoors and spending time with his family, particularly with his grandpa.
Though Brandon was here for too short of time, he left his handprint on the world and brightened the lives of his friends, cousins, brothers, sisters, and especially his parents and grandparents.
Brandon was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Clifton and Margaret Rabideaux; grandparents Jim and Maryann Blacketter; and his aunt, Jan Rabideaux.
He is survived by his parents, Raff and Mel Blacketter; his grandparents Cliff and Gail Rabideaux; his brothers, Brody (Brianna Matrious) Blacketter, Holden, Jordan and Orlando Blacketter; his sisters, Janice and Evee Blacketter; godmother, Flora Diver; godfather, Clint Rabideaux; nephews, Brody Blacketter Jr. and Bryson Blacketter; niece, Sequoia Blacketter; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
An all-night wake was held Oct. 15 and continued until the funeral service Oct. 16 in the Fond du Lac Cultural Language and Learning Center in Cloquet, with interment in Sawyer Cemetery.
