The Cloquet Area Home, Business & Sports Show originally set for March has been canceled by the Cloquet Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. The affiliated craft show will go on as scheduled, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, March 11-12 at Black Bear Casino Resort.
This is the third year in a row the home, sport and business show has been scheduled but not held. The 2020 show was only days away when news that Covid-19 was affecting Minnesotans forced its cancellation. In 2021, despite efforts to reschedule more than once, the show was again canceled because of the pandemic. This year it’s a combination of high case rates and businesses choosing not to participate because they don’t have enough staff to be there.
“We do, however, have a lot of great vendors who would still like to share their talents, so we’re going to convert it to a craft show for this year,” said the Chamber’s Alyson Leno.
Masks are currently required for any events or activities at Black Bear Casino Resort.
